The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most beloved SUVs of all time. Finding one used should not be too difficult considering how many have been sold since the model began modern production in 1986. Of course, most used models on car lots will be more recent. A search for a pre-owned Jeep Wrangler model will mostly yield 2010 or newer models.
The practice of producing two different Wrangler wheelbases began back in 2004, so you should be able to find both the 2-door Wrangler and the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited with enough searching. There have been four generations of the modern Jeep Wrangler, with the most recent one having started in 2017. The chart below uses the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara as an example of the kind of available features and specifications you will find when shopping for a pre-owned Jeep Wrangler.

|3.6L V6 Engine||Front and Rear Ventilated Disc Brakes||Auxiliary and USB Audio Inputs|

|285 Horsepower||Passenger Seat Occupant Sensing Airbag Deactivation||Air Conditioning|
You would not be looking for a Jeep Wrangler if you were not considering taking it off-road. Even if you have not considered it, you should try off-roading if you buy a Wrangler. The ability to choose between two wheelbases has drawn in many more buyers than it would have otherwise had. The longer Unlimited versions may be harder to find, but the search is well worth it. There are a lot of other large, off-road capable SUVs out there, but none of them will match the Wrangler and its combination of high ground clearance, adventure tuned suspension, rugged good looks, and undeniable reliability.
